GiantMouse is introducing the new GMF4 fixed-blade knife in blasted Double Black Canvas Micarta and blasted Red Canvas Micarta.

Camp-Style Knife

The GMF4 is GiantMouse’s first “camp-style” knife, and their largest blade to date. As always, knifemakers Ansø and Vox designed this knife with utility in mind.

The lanyard hole is strategically placed in the front to provide a safer grip when working in the bushes. In the instance a branch catches on your lanyard, the knife will be pulled forward out of your hand, whilst a classic mounted end lanyard would be pulled through your hand (ouch!).

New GiantMouse Fixed-Blade Knife

The GMF4 is equipped with a comfortable and secure handle, a high, flat saber blade grind and of course, jimping in all the right places. It is available in Red Canvas Micarta with a PVD stonewash-finished blade, and Double Black Canvas Micarta with a stonewash-finished blade. Both versions feature Böhler N690 blade steel. The N690 blade is 5.65 inches (144mm) in length, measured from tip to forward-most aspect of the frame, and 0.192 inch (4.87mm) thick. The handle is 4.78 inches (122mm) long, giving the knife an overall length of 10.45 inches (266mm). Both GMF4 variations weigh in at 8.1o ounces (230g).
